£58,000 - £104,400 per annum Indemnity paid + BMA model + 7 weeks leave

You will be joining a successful GP Training Practice in an idyllic village setting on the edge of the Mendip Hills.
The practice is very well thought of by their local community as well as their trainees as evidenced by their retention of ST3s through to Salaried GPs and ultimately Partnership.
To complement their GP Training, they are also becoming more heavily involved in medical student teaching and they are now looking for a new GP to specifically look after medical students.
Given the supervisory and tutoring element of this role, a GP with at least three years’ experience is preferred.

Salary – c£11,600 per session plus indemnity and BMA contract

Location – Chew Valley area, easily commutable from Bristol and Bath

The surgery –

• Successful Training practice with excellent feedback from trainees and patients
• Young, dynamic partnership including former trainees at the practice
• Geared towards reducing GP workload
  • Admin hub reducing GP paperwork

  • Opportunity to take on teaching or lead responsibilities to provide variety
• Very sociable team which meets regularly

Your role –

• 5-6 sessions per week consisting of:
  • 1 tutorial session
  • 2 supervisory sessions
  • 2-3 regular clinics
• Routine clinics consisting of 12 patients per session
• 15-minute appointments
• On-call responsibilities, if applicable, are half days only
