Salaried GPs Part Time 5 - 7 Sessions, CoS Visa May Be Offered

We are a largetraining practice in Holbrooks, Coventry, currently seeking a Salaried GPs tohelp us deliver the highest standards of care for our patients.

Medical IndemnityCover will be provided.

Salary negotiabledepending on experience.

Main duties of the job

In general, the post holder will be expected toundertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GPworking in Primary Care, such as: 12-13 Sessional appointments, including 1-2 'DutyGP' / on-call sessions per week, home visits, telephone, face to face andonline consultations, medical reports, admin work including participating in the 'GP BuddySystem'

Participate in cross cover arrangements to coverwhilst colleagues are on leave.

Keep contemporaneous, accurate and legible recordsof all patient contacts and contribute to electronic data recording and auditas directed by the service.

Prescribe, issue prescription and treatmentsaccording to agreed protocols and local guidance, within scope of competence.

Contribute to evaluation / audit, significant eventreporting and clinical standard setting within the service.

Develop and encourage positive workingrelationships with PCN, CCG, local GP Practices, housing, social work,voluntary services, drug and alcohol, mental health, dental, secondary care andother appropriate services.

Pursue continuing professional and personaldevelopment.

Participate in operational and strategic planningfor the development of the practice.

Maintains GMC registration and license to practice.

Ensure inclusion on a local Performers List

Qualifications
  • The job holder may have - MRCGP or equivalent - Must be currently registered on a performers List - Valid registration with the GMC - License to Practice
Experience
  • Proficient in use of EMIS Web, Docman, AccuRx, Anima
  • Experience in Primary Care with a good understanding of issues surrounding Primary Care Service Experience of dealing with challenges in primary care settings.
  • Recent evidence of continued academic and professional development
