Job summary

Menlo Park International GPs in Workington is seeking a General Practitioner to join a forward-thinking practice. The role offers 4–8 sessions per week with 15-minute consultations and around 30 patients daily, supported by a multi-disciplinary team including ANP, Paramedic, Pharmacists and Practice Nurses.

The position starts as Salaried GP with potential progression to Lead GP in the future. Salary ranges from £9,500 to £12,500 per session, with indemnity covered, NHS Pension, 6 weeks’ annual

Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join a forward-thinking Practice in the Workington area, who are looking for an additional GP to join their team. The practice can be flexible with the number of sessions on offer, though has a preference for working days to include Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. The Practice is an accredited Training Practice and regularly has a registrar on site, along with a very diverse MDT including ANP, Paramedic, Pharmacists and Practice Nurses. The workload is kept as reasonable as possible with 15-minute face-to-face appointments, seeing circa 32 patients per day. The role of Salaried GP pays up to £10,800 per session though development is available to a Lead GP role with extra responsibility, allowing progression to a much higher sessional rate. This Practice is an accredited Tier 2 sponsor. Salary – £9,500 – £12,500 per session+ + Indemnity insurance paid + NHS Pension + 6 weeks' annual leave + 1 week study leave. Location – Workington.
