Salaried GP with view to Partnership 6 sessions - Mon, Thurs & Friday
Castle Surgery is seeking a motivated, committed, and forward-thinking Salaried GP to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team. Located in the heart of Neath Town Centre, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with an established patient list of 9,921. The role includes a potential future partnership for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will start in the practice on 1st August 2025.
Main duties of the job
Main Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality primary care services to registered and temporary patients
- Conduct 28 consultations per day (face-to-face and telephone)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Prescribe in line with the practice formulary
- Support disease prevention and long-term condition management
- Offer leadership and clinical input to the wider team
- Mentor or support junior staff, Physicians Associates, and medical students from Swansea University
- Benefit from streamlined workflow admin responsible only for your own test results and letters
- Minimal medication queries handled by the pharmacy team
- Home visits required occasionally, when Advanced Paramedic Practitioner is unavailable
- Attend clinical meetings
- Promote QI projects

- Fully Registered and Qualified with the General Medical Council
