Salaried GP – Winchester – Up to £11,000 per Session – Supportive Training Practice with Strong Development Opportunities

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic GP to join a thriving, forward-thinking practice in the historic city ofWinchester. This well-established surgery is committed to fostering professional growth, making it an ideal setting for both newly qualified GPs seeking mentorship and experienced GPs looking for a collaborative and progressive environment. The practice prides itself on its strong training ethos, with a team that includes GP Trainers, Retainers, and a multi-disciplinary clinical team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Serving a diverse patient population of approximately13,000, the practice offers a supportive and structured working environment with a focus on continuous learning and development.

As ahigh QOF achiever, the practice maintains excellent clinical standards while prioritising GP wellbeing through efficient workload management. The team consists of7 GPs, 1 GP Retainer, 4 Practice Nurses, and 1 Nurse Associate, supported byClinical Pharmacistswho handle prescription sign-offs to reduce administrative burden. Regular in-house educational programmes, including‘CPD with lunch,’ensure ongoing professional development in a collegial setting. The practice also benefits fromstreamlined admin processes, a buddy system for smooth onboarding, and a manageable patient load—allowing GPs to focus on delivering high-quality care.
