Job summary

Menlo Park International GPs in Whitehaven is seeking a GP to join a forward-thinking practice. The role offers 4–8 sessions per week, with 15‑minute face-to-face appointments and an average of around 28 patients per day. The position starts as Salaried GP with a clear pathway to Lead GP, subject to development and performance.

You must be GMC registered and on the UK performers list. The practice is a training site with an MDT, indemnity covered, NHS pension and annual leave benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join a forward-thinking Practice in the Whitehaven area, who are looking for an additional GP to join their team. The practice can be flexible with the number of sessions on offer, though would require an incoming GP to work on a Monday.

The Practice is an accredited Training Practice and regularly has registrars on site, along with a very diverse MDT including ANPs, Pharmacists and Practice Nurses. The workload is kept as reasonable as possible with 15-minute appointments, seeing circa 28 patients per day.

The role of Salaried GP pays up to £11,800 per session though there is development available to a Lead GP role with extra responsibility, allowing progression to a much higher sessional rate.

This Practice is an accredited Tier 2 sponsor.

Salary – £9,700 – £11,800 per session+ + Indemnity insurance paid + NHS Pension + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave.
