Job summary

Menlo Park Adult Social Care is supporting a forward-thinking GP Practice in the Whitehaven area to recruit an additional Salaried GP. The role offers flexible sessions and requires availability on Mondays.

The Practice is an accredited Training Practice with registrars, a diverse MDT (ANPs, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses) and 15-minute appointments seeing about 28 patients per day. Salary is £9,700–£11,800 per session with indemnity paid, NHS Pension, 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave;

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with GMC registration.
• Experience in primary care is preferred.
• Willingness to work 4–8 sessions per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 15-minute face-to-face appointments.
• See approximately 28 patients per day.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team (ANPs, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses).
• Minimise admin with support from pharmacists and admin staff.
• Remain a caring GP and work as part of a multi-skilled team.
• Possibility of progression to Lead GP with higher sessional rate.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join a forward-thinking Practice in the Whitehaven area, who are looking for an additional GP to join their team. The practice can be flexible with the number of sessions on offer, though would require an incoming GP to work on a Monday.

The Practice is an accredited Training Practice and regularly has registrars on site, along with a very diverse MDT including ANPs, Pharmacists and Practice Nurses. The workload is kept as reasonable as possible with 15-minute appointments, seeing circa 28 patients per day.

The role of Salaried GP pays up to £11,800 per session though there is development available to a Lead GP role with extra responsibility, allowing progression to a much higher sessional rate.

This Practice is an accredited Tier 2 sponsor.

Salary – £9,700 – £11,800 per session+ + Indemnity insurance paid + NHS Pension + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave.
