Background –
Are you looking to join a long-established GP Training Practice that has an excellent retention rate of its Registrars?
Are you looking for a practice where the previous GPs we’ve placed there have fed back excellently?
Are you looking to be empowered to manage your clinical workload as you see fit?

Newly qualifying GPs as well as those requiring Tier 2 visa sponsorship are both very welcome.

Salary – c£12,000 per session plus indemnity and GMC fees

Location – Weston-super-Mare, suburbs rather than town centre (larger catchment area so less deprived than more central practices)

The surgery –

• Large GP Training Practice
• Excellent feedback from numerous GPs recruited for the practice over the years
• Very varied demographic including more professionals and young families
• Excellent continuity of care – really get to know your patients
• Very forward thinking, regularly undertaking new pilots and initiatives
• Coffee break every morning
• EMIS Web

Your role –

• Salaried GP (view to Partnership also available)
• 5 or more sessions per week
  • GPs in total control of their workload – you’ll have 10-12 ‘urgent’ appointments per day with the rest of the day managing the demand from your list as you see fit
• Duty is more surface triaging than traditional duty – much less intense and more enjoyable
• Visiting Paramedics and PCN Frailty team meaning virtually no home visits for GPs
