Qualifications

• Full registration with UK GMC and licence to practise.
• Experience in primary care is desirable.
• Willingness to participate in GP training where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of patients in a primary care setting.
• Conduct surgery consultations and telephone consultations.
• Visit patients at home as needed.
• Check and sign repeat prescriptions and handle related queries.
• Prescribe in line with practice prescribing formulary or generically where appropriate.
• Record clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
• Contribute to audits and data collection for quality improvement.
• Participate in standard setting and development of computerised patient records.
