We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive practice team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate medical care to our registered patient population through face-to-face, telephone and home visit consultations. Working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions, support the ongoing care of patients with long-term conditions, and contribute to health promotion and preventative care initiatives. The role also involves supporting clinical governance, mentoring colleagues, participating in quality improvement activities, and helping to shape the continued development of the practice and wider primary care network.
The Castle Medical Group is a vibrant, friendly, semi-rural practice based in the market town of Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley. We are a dispensing and teaching practice judged outstanding since January 2016 by the CQC and consistently achieve maximum QOF points.
Our list of 15,700 patients is cared for by six GP partners, five salaried GPs, five ANPs and a nursing team of eight, supported by our admin and reception teams.
Our practice is one of four in the Ribblesdale Primary Care Network which supports a total population of 43,900 patients. We have an excellent working relationship with our neighbouring PCN colleagues and employ additional staff across the practices such as first contact physiotherapists, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and social prescribers.
