Job summary

Health Care First Partnership is seeking a salaried GP for a five‑month fixed-term post. The role focuses on face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, triage, chronic disease management, and QOF delivery within a busy general practice network serving Castleford, Ferrybridge, Methley and Normanton.

The team includes in-house pharmacy, cardiology and paediatric nurse specialists, with GP trainees and FY2 doctors. Registration with GMC/RCGP and performers list are required.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
• Annual appraisal and revalidation maintained.
• Inclusion on the performers list.

Job description

This salaried GP post is a five-month fixed-term role with Health Care First Partnership, one of the largest general practices serving Castleford, Ferrybridge, Methley and Normanton. The work centres on face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, triage, chronic disease management, delivery of QOF targets, clinical governance and audit. The practice runs 12.5-minute appointments, has in-house pharmacy, cardiology and paediatric nurse teams, and trains medical students, FY2 doctors and GP trainees. Fit depends on GMC and RCGP registration and inclusion on the performers list.
