Job summary

The Elms Surgery in Watford is recruiting a permanent salaried GP to work 4-6 sessions per week, with a view to fixed share partnership for the right candidate. Salary negotiable and experience-based.

Specialist interests such as elderly care, safeguarding, teaching and training are welcomed. The post holder will manage a caseload in a busy primary care setting, participate in regular tutorials and clinical meetings, and contribute to education and training within the practice.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
• Be on the NHSE medical performers list.
• Desirable: ARRS GP experience or similar teaching/training interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical services to registered patients including routine, urgent, and same-day appointments.
• Conduct home visits where required and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications safely and refer to secondary care as needed.
• Support training and supervision of students, trainees, or allied staff.
