Job summary

Compass House Medical Centres in Swindon is seeking a salaried GP to join a ten GP team with an advanced nurse practitioner, pharmacy and care co-ordination support. The role focuses on pro-rata patient lists, continuity of care, planned and on-the-day sessions, with protected admin/review time and a BMA model contract.

The post includes a training remit for registrars and students; GMC registration, Performers List placement and enhanced DBS clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and current licence to practise.
• Inclusion on NHS England Medical Performers List or equivalent.
• Appropriate medical indemnity arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Hold pro-rata patient list and ensure continuity of care.
• Provide clinical care face-to-face, telephone and digital consultations.
• Assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients with acute, chronic and complex needs.
• Manage clinical administration within agreed timescales.
• Prescribe safely in line with guidelines and formulary.
• Undertake home visits where appropriate, via ANP team.
