Job summary

Putneymead Group Medical Practice in South West London is seeking a Salaried GP with a view to Partnership within twelve months. The role focuses on high-quality patient-centred care while developing leadership skills and contributing to the strategic direction and sustainability of the practice.

The post offers opportunities to participate in partnership development, weekly management sessions, and teaching for GP trainees and students.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and inclusion on the GP Register.
• Completion of GP training and MRCGP or equivalent.
• Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
• Appropriate medical indemnity.
• Satisfactory criminal record checks.
• Experience working in UK general practice.
• Excellent clinical communication and consultation skills.
• Good IT skills and willingness to use EMIS Web.
• Knowledge of QOF clinical coding and enhanced services.
• Commitment to clinical governance and patient safety.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing demands.
• Commitment to equality diversity and inclusion.
• Evidence of continuing professional development and reflective practice.
• An interest in leadership service development and partnership working.

Responsibilities

• Provide face to face, telephone and online consultations.
• Prescribe safely and support medicines optimisation.
• Lead or support designated clinical and operational areas.
• Participate in partnership meetings and shared decision making.
• Contribute to workforce planning recruitment and staff development.
• Support service improvement, innovation and organisational development.
• Promote a positive inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
