Job summary

The Adam Practice is offering two permanent salaried GP posts at Lifeboat Quay Surgery and Hamworthy Surgery. The roles focus on managing a broad primary care caseload, including chronic disease, prevention and QoF delivery, within a teaching site serving 40,000 patients.

Applicants must be fully qualified GPs on the GMC register with Medical Performers List experience, and be prepared to work five or six sessions (post one) or four sessions (post two) per week.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified GP with general practice training.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Evidence of CPD.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload across a wide range of health needs in primary care.
• Ensure the highest standards of care for registered and temporary patients.
• Manage chronic disease.
• Deliver primary prevention and screening services.
• Deliver QoF targets.
• Support clinical governance and self-audit.
• Contribute to training and education, including overseas and elective students.
• Support the development of practice staff.
• Act professionally and follow practice protocols, policies and guidelines.
