Job summary

The Royal College of General Practitioners is seeking a Salaried GP to join a large, modern practice in north Worcestershire near Kidderminster. You will manage a personal list of around 1,400 patients across a 7-session week, with a triage-led model and a dedicated visiting team.

The role offers a supportive team, good leave, and NHS pension. Newly qualified GPs are welcome and visa sponsorship is available.

Job description

A personal list of around 1,400 patients for a 7-session GP, 14 contacts per session and a visiting team that takes on most home visits. Total triage and capped duty sessions mean the work reaching you has already been filtered. A modern purpose-built building and a settled, cohesive team complete the picture.

Location

The practice is in north Worcestershire, near Kidderminster. Worcester around 30 minutes, Halesowen around 30 minutes, and Solihull around 45 minutes. Parking is available on site.

The Practice

• GP Training Practice with links to two medical schools, supporting students and registrars
• Modern purpose-built building with 32 consulting and treatment rooms, air conditioning and staff showers
• Large practice with a large partnership team and a large salaried GP team
• Wide multidisciplinary team including ANPs, a paramedic, physician associates, nurses, on-site physiotherapy and allocated clinical pharmacists
• Supportive, cohesive team culture with strong staff retention
• Patient survey results well above the national average
• CQC rated Good

Your Role

Salary and Benefits

• Up to £11,500 per session
• 6 weeks annual leave, inclusive of PDP time
