Prospect Health is seeking a GP to provide maternity cover at a Wolverhampton surgery in the West Midlands. You will join a well-supported team and manage a stable patient list with flexible hours around childcare.

The post offers 4 sessions per week, NHS pension, and a supportive environment to develop clinical interests and teaching opportunities. Registered with GMC and on the performers list is essential; the practice covers negligence policy costs and offers a competitive salary package

Job description

GP Maternity Cover Opportunity in Wolverhampton, West Midlands

This is an excellent chance to join a successful Wolverhampton based surgery.

The surgery have put together a large experienced team of clinical staff, including permanent GPs, Clinical Pharmacists and Nursing staff. The workload is well managed with good flexibility available around child-care and the time and space to pursue clinical interest areas and teaching of medical students.

Located in Wolverhampton, easily commutable from Birmingham. Ample on-site parking is provided.

Key Duties

• Growing patient list of just under 10,000 with a low number of home visits, and great support from an experienced permanent clinical team including Permanent GPs, as well as Nurses, and a PharmacistOffering 4 sessions per week. Strong existing team of permanent GPsLow duty Doctor, minimal home visits, and no extended hours necessary
