Job summary

Mullion & Constantine Group Practice in Cornwall is seeking a salaried GP for a 12-month maternity cover starting January or February 2027. The post focuses on general medical care for the registered list, with face-to-face, telephone and online consultations across four sites.

Flexible sessions and working patterns are offered, welcoming newly qualified, experienced or portfolio GPs, with full GMC registration and licence to practise required to apply.

Qualifications

• Primary medical degree recognised by the GMC.
• Full GMC registration with a current licence to practise.
• Included on the GMC GP Register or eligible for inclusion.
• Included on NHS England Medical Performers List or eligible.
• Indemnity in place for medical defence.
• Ongoing CPD and engagement with appraisal and revalidation.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face, telephone and online consultations.
• Assessing and managing acute presentations and long-term conditions.
• Diagnosis and management of undifferentiated illness.
• Safe prescribing and medicines management.
• Reviewing and acting on investigation results and clinical correspondence.
• Making referrals and contributing to personalised care planning.
• Home visits as clinically required.
• Duty doctor arrangements and participation in meetings.
• Maintaining clear, accurate clinical records.
• Working across four practice sites as required.
