Would you like to join our friendly, successful, and supportive Practice? We are seeking a GP to join our existing extensive clinical team.

Main duties of the job

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the contract. The post holder will adhere to GMC standards for good medical practice, contribute to effective management, lead by example, and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with the multidisciplinary team.

Job Responsibilities
Job Summary:

The post-holder will manage a caseload, providing high standards of care for all patients.

Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Make autonomous decisions on patient care
  • Assess health needs of undiagnosed problems
  • Screen for disease risks and early signs
  • Develop care plans and provide health education
  • Manage patient admissions/discharges and referrals
  • Record consultation notes and collect audit data
  • Issue prescriptions electronically
  • Prescribe according to formulary and best practice

  • Follow practice policies on prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, and safety
  • Engage in lifelong learning, audits, and development
