Job Summary

Modality Partnership Birmingham division has a part-time vacancy for a Salaried GP (1-9 sessions a week). The postholder will be passionate about patient care, working at Handsworth Wood Medical Centre and contributing to the innovation within the partnership in the way care is delivered. We are seeking dedicated postholders to join our team who will embrace our partnership values: Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (CARE). Sessional rate for this role is £10,300 per session rising to £10,600 per session upon successfully completing probationary period.

This job is suitable for individuals who are compassionate, patient focused and have a real passion for primary care, and working within a larger GP super partnership, who are dedicated to making real changes to the health care services provided within Primary Care to improve patient care and the work life balance for our staff.

Main duties of the job

The role is a patient centred role delivered from your nominated practice site. The postholder will need to confidently evidence key skills such as excellent verbal and written communication skills, clinical skills and empowering patients to manage their individual health conditions. The usual duties of a salaried GP will be expected patient care through regular appointments, home visits and the general administration for patient care. The postholder will work in collaboration with their local practice team, engaging the use of the associated roles that are be attached to the practice.
