Salaried GP Advert (Term-time available)

After recently successfully recruiting 2 Salaried GP’s, an exciting opportunity has come up for a Salaried GP to join us at Mayfield.

We are looking for a GP to join us and help shape our future growth, particularly in education where we currently look after Foundation Doctors, GP Registrars, Newcastle University medical students, and soon Sunderland Medical School undergraduates.

• 6-8 sessions, with at least one Education session, if desired.
• Salary £11,000 per session & discretionary bonus depending on Practice QOF performance.
• 6 weeks annual leave pro rota. 1 week study leave pro rata.
• Excellent mentorship and support structure, newly qualified GPs welcome and will be well looked after! Equally, good partnership candidates will find a well-run and financially very secure surgery with no building buy-in.
• Very low home visiting rate - average 1-2 per week.
• Capped appointments to reflect our ethos of safe working and positive staff well-being.
• Mix of face to face and telephone consulting on EMIS system
• Sociable team
• Jarrow, South Tyneside, NE32 5SE—Geographically convenient for commuting from central Newcastle within 20mins, the A1.
• Strong ties to our PCN and LMC.
• Your own room, motorised standing desks, fresh coffee daily, and private garden for picnicking when weather allows.
• 08:30am—18:00pm (plus one extended access till 20:00pm)
