Ancrum One Medical Centre in Dundee invites applications for a GP to join our small, friendly practice. We currently have three GP partners and a supportive clinical and admin team, with opportunities to develop in postgraduate teaching.

We offer 6–7 sessions per week, flexible terms, and the chance to work near Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Salary and working days are negotiable; informal visits are welcome.

• Qualified GP with current registration and eligibility to practice in Scotland.
• Interest in postgraduate teaching and educational roles is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide GP sessions (6–7 per week) delivering high-quality primary care.
• Participate in postgraduate teaching and contribute to trainee education.
• Collaborate with a small, friendly team and robust admin support.
• Be flexible with hours and consider extended hours if desired.

Ancrum One are seeking an additional GP for 6-7 sessions per week.

We currently have three GP partners, one Advanced Nurse Practitioner and two Practice Nurses working flexibly with our supportive, well organised clinical and admin support team.

We are a forward thinking and highly motivated Practice, and are keen to ensure any new GP has the opportunity to develop.

We are a long established postgraduate training Practice and all current GP Partners are involved in educational roles; we would be supportive of any GP developing an interest in this area.

We deliver high quality care for our patient population from our Practice premises which are in close proximity to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. The Practice is located within two converted traditional stone built houses, creating spacious and welcoming consulting rooms.

• Small, very friendly team
• Weekly practice Management team meeting and weekly full team huddle
• Robust Chronic Disease Management Systems in place
• IT systems: Vision and Docman
• GPs are supported by 2 Advance Nurse Practitioners and 2 Practice Nurses
• Excellent administrative and support team with increased training to support GPs in their role
• Postgraduate teaching practice with established in-practice GP trainers
• Option to participate in extended hours
• Premises: No buy in required, but potential for future building ownership if desired
