Job description

Salaried GP (5 sessions to include Enhanced Access)

We have an exciting opportunity for a 5-session salaried GP position, which, due to a change in our in-house Enhanced Access provision, may include some later start and finish times. Days and hours are flexible and can be discussed at interview.

Join a large, supportive, and fun multi-professional team within a GMS multi-professional training practice, offering ample opportunities for skill development and a strong focus on education and training across Surrey. A sense of humour is essential.

We maintain high standards with QOF achievement and provide extensive enhanced services, including IUC, implants, and minor surgery.

Enjoy daily clinical huddles with supportive colleagues, in-house mentoring with access to NHS fellowships, and use of EMIS Web, Docman, with workflow processing by trained administrators to reduce admin burden.

Be part of an innovative PCN, the Care Collaborative, which includes a multi-professional anticipatory care hub and soon-to-be-launched mental health hub.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Deliver highly effective medical care to the entitled population.
  • Provide services in line with the GMS/PMS contract.
  • Adhere to local and national prescribing guidelines.
  • Manage long-term conditions effectively.
  • Process administrative tasks promptly, including referrals and repeat prescriptions.
  • Participate in telephone triage and duty doctor roles on a rotational basis.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Accept delegated responsibilities for specific areas or QOF.

We are a large, supportive, and fun multi-professional team within a GMS training practice, emphasizing education, training, and development across Surrey. We uphold high standards with QOF achievement and offer extensive enhanced services, including IUC, implants, and minor surgery.

Our practice features daily clinical huddles, in-house mentoring, NHS fellowships, and workflow support. We do not provide OOH services but offer additional extended hours (Saturday 8:30-12:30) if desired. We are part of the innovative Care Collaborative PCN, with upcoming mental health services. Our location offers excellent schools and transport links.
