Bridge View Medical in South Bristol is seeking a 4-session Salaried GP to join a large, friendly practice with 4 sites. The role offers opportunities to develop special interests and run clinics in minor ops, women’s health, diabetes and menopause.

We are a teaching, training and research practice with a strong support network and a focus on continuity of care for ~39,000 patients. Competitive salary per session, with excellent on-site facilities and generous benefits.

Formación

• Medical Degree and GP training are required.
• GMC registration and current CCG performers list are necessary.
• MRCGP qualification is preferred and encouraged.

We arelooking for a 4 sessionSalaried GPto join our large, friendly and supportivepractice in South Bristol.

Bridge View Medical is an establishedpractice and Primary Care Network in its own right. We have 4 sites in SouthBristol all close to the bustling harbourside and vibrant North Street.

With c39,000 patients cared for by awonderful team of 150 dedicated Partners and staff, we pride ourselves on beinga larger practice with all the benefits this has to offer while still retaininga friendly and supportive culture.

We are a teaching, training andresearch practice and recently became the proud recipient of South BristolAcademy Teaching Practice Award for our outstanding contribution to medicalteaching.

Main duties of the job

As well as carrying out a full range of GP services, you will have the opportunity to develop special interests and run clinics such as minor ops, womens health, diabetes & menopause clinics

About us

We are a 14 Partner and 26 Salaried GPpractice, supported by a large team of Pharmacists (many of whom areprescribers), Physios, Paramedics, Dietitian, Physician Associates, ANPs,Nurses and HCAs. Most visits are carried out by our extended clinical team.

We have dedicated admin support including a docman teamand a pharmacy hub for prescription queries together with an excellent team ofCare Coordinators responsible for triaging and patient bookings.

We are rated "Good" by CQC in all areas andrated "Excellent" as a training practice.

Job responsibilities

Weoffer:

• 13appointments per session (choice of 10 or 15-minutes), mix of telephone &face to face including 3 x GP bookable
• Competitivesessional rate: £12,094-£12,324 per session per annum
• Enhanced payfor EA/Lead GP/Home visit duties
• Designatedhome visiting clinician and no home visits on a routine GP day
• Both routineand same day sessions, variety of roles/ sessions
• Structuredand supportive on-boarding programme over a 4-6 week period with reducedappointments
• Allocatedmentor and dedicated mentoring sessions for the first 2 years, thereafter weoperate a buddy system
• Active first 5 peer support group andextended clinical team support available via WhatsApp or Pando
• Support todevelop special interests
• Salaried GPcontract which follows the BMA model
• Dedicatedbi-monthly educational afternoons and CPD support
• Flexi session start/finish times to fit inaround family life

Qualifications

• Medical Degree, GP Training experience, good communication skills.
