Salaried GP – 2 sessions - Lyngford Park Surgery

We are looking to recruit a 2 session salaried GP initially on a 12 months fixed term contract. fixed term contract.

Lyngford Park Surgery is situated in Priorswood Taunton. Providing personalised patient care we are held in high regard by the local community and health care professionals.

Our motivated and personable clinical team includes 5 GPs, 2 practice nurses, student Nurse Associate, HCA, 2 clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technician and on-site support from allied staff includes MSK physiotherapist, Proactive Care Team and Child and Young Person Mental Health Co-ordinator.

We operate very much with a team approach with morning whole team huddles followed by a GP huddle, weekly clinical team meetings and biweekly GP/management team business meetings. Group training sessions and whole team practice meetings are scheduled across the year.

Within the team we offer specialist diabetes support, minor surgery and joint injections, LARC services and smoking cessation on site. We are part of Tone Valley PCN and able to direct patients to the hub services for Feno, ABPI, and other less clinical services including phlebotomy.

We are both a training practice for GP Registrars with the Severn Valley Deanery and for Exeter University medical students, recently expanding our training for years 3 and 4.

Our stunning new purpose-built extension provides spacious clinical and admin areas, recently certified as Energy rating B. The premises are partner owned and a good investment for the future of the practice. The practice has a Green Impact Award.
