North West Leicestershire GP Federation is inviting applications for a Salaried GP to join the Primary Care Network. The post is part-time and based at a GP practice within the PCN; GPs are supported and mentored by Clinical Directors and the COO, working in a patient-facing environment.

The role involves autonomous general practice, assessing, diagnosing and treating patients, with opportunities to develop your career in primary care within a multidisciplinary team.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join the North West Leicestershire GP Federation to support the Primary Care Network. GPs are supported and mentored by our Clinical Directors and Chief Operating Officer, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient-facing environment. The post holder will be employed by North West Leicestershire GP Federation and this position would be based at a GP practice within the PCN., To perform as an autonomous general practitioner working independently with other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting. To provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues whilst maintaining clinical excellence. To be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct, ensuring the safety of patients and quality of their care is primary.
