A healthcare provider in Waverley is looking for an experienced GP to join their team for a 6 session per week role. The successful candidate will manage their own patient list and provide face-to-face and online consultations. The practice promotes professional development and provides a supportive environment. Full GMC registration and MRCGP qualification are required, along with experience in GP practices.
Cranleigh Medical Practice is looking to recruit a 6 session per week, list holding GP to join our team.
We are a large practice based in modern premises in the centre of the village of Cranleigh. We have a current list size of 18,000 patients. We are a large team comprising of GPs, nurses, HCAs, ANP, AHP, clinical pharmacist, frailty nurse, admin team and a management team.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly and supportive practice and as a training practice we encourage professional development.
The role will primarily involve patient facing clinical workconsisting of face to face and telephone consultations for routine and on theday care.
Patient care includes investigating and reviewing results, makingroutine referrals and medication management.
In addition the role requiresparticipation in the duty GP rota, participation in clinical meetings, auditsand quality improvement initiatives.
The sucessful candidate will hold their own patient list.
Cranleigh Medical Practice has 7 GP partners plus 8 salaried GPs so whether you are a new GP or more expereinced, you will be well supported in your role.

Clinical Care
Provide general medical services in accordance with GMS contract and GMC guidance
Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
Manage your own patient list
Provide care to patients in the surgery, care homes, their own home
Prescribe and manage medication responsibly and in line with best practice
Provide care to patients for both chronic and acute symptoms
Participate in the duty doctor rota as required
Teamworking and Collaboration
Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and admin teams
Participate in weekly clinical governance meetings, case reviews, and significant event audits
Support supervision of trainees or medical students (if appropriate)
Contribute to multi-disciplinary care planning and PCN initiatives
Administrative Responsibilities
Complete administration tasks including medical reports, referrals, and documentation in a timely manner
Use EMIS Web and Docman systems effectively (Training can be provided)
Engage in workflow optimisation with support from admin staff and document management processes
Maintain up-to-date and accurate medical records
Professional Development
Participate in continuing professional development and appraisals
Engage in annual NHS appraisal and revalidation processes
Take part in clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and practice development initiatives
