Job summary

Manor Court Surgery in Nuneaton is seeking a qualified GP to join the team as an autonomous practitioner, delivering high-quality medical care in line with the GMS contract.

You will work with GPs and the wider practice team, manage long-term conditions, perform triage and on-call duties, and contribute to clinical governance, audits and CPD.

The post requires GMC registration, MRCGP and CCT or equivalent, with commitment to professional development and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

  • Qualified GP with MRCGP and CCT/Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent.
  • Full GMC registration and National Performers List.
  • DBS and Occupational Health clearance.
  • Desirable: Minor Surgery & Joint Injections. IUCD & Implanon.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

Main Duties of the Job
Clinical Care & Patient Management
  • Provide highly effective medical care to the practice population.
  • Deliver services in accordance with the GMS contract.
  • Manage patients with long-term conditions effectively.
  • Prescribe generically and safely, following local and national guidance.

  • Undertake other duties as reasonably required according to workload and staffing levels.

Essential
  • Qualified GP withMRCGPandCCT/Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent.
