NPC Nelson in North Shields is recruiting salaried GPs to cover up to 8 sessions with a regular Friday requirement, delivering high-quality patient care in a community-focused practice. Based at Nelson Health Centre, you will join a diverse multidisciplinary network across four local sites, supported by a management team to focus on clinically important care and long-term condition management.

We are recruiting up to 8 sessions at NPC Nelson, North Shields. The successful candidate will be expected to work Fridays. As part of Northumbria Primary Care and the wider NPC North Tyneside neighbourhood, the practice benefits from a diverse multidisciplinary team and a collaborative network across four local sites, providing opportunities for shared learning, peer support, and service resilience. Based at Nelson Health Centre alongside other NHS services, the practice is well connected within the local community and works closely with a range of partner organisations, including women's refuge services, rehabilitation centres, care homes, children's services, and OpCourage. Serving a population with significant health inequalities and higher levels of deprivation, Nelson has a particular focus on continuity, preventative care, wellbeing, and proactive long-term condition management., As a GP Practice which is part of Northumbria Primary Care, we work with flexibility and independence to run the surgery based on what is best for our patients and staff, and additionally we have the regular and consistent support of the management team to help us to focus on what is clinically important. As a Salaried GP the post holder will be a key clinician within the team. A job plan will be agreed with you to provide general medical services and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting., As an NPC GP we can offer some great benefits some of which are:

Depending on experience Locally Agreed NPC GP pay rates: £11,399 - £12,931 pps/pa
