Job summary

Roseworth Surgery in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, invites applications from newly qualified and experienced GPs for a part-time, fixed-term role of 9 months. Job summary

Newly qualified and experienced GP's are welcome to apply. The role is to provide high-quality patient centered general medical services to the registered population of Gosforth. It also includes clinical oversight and support of GP registrars and medical students, contributing to the practice's long-standing training and educational responsibilities.

Main duties of the job

• Provide face to face, telephone, and online consultations
• Deliver high quality acute, chronic, and preventative care
• Undertake routine and urgent clinical assessments
• Participate in home visiting (shared equitably within the clinical team)
• Review and act upon pathology results, correspondence, and clinical reports
• Complete referrals, fit notes, and associated clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Contribute to QOF, enhanced services, and long-term condition management
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including ARRS staff
• Support training, supervision, audit, and quality improvement activity where appropriate
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records

You will be supported by experienced partners and a salaried GP, working alongside a conscientious and skilled nursing team and a professional patient focused reception team, with strong support from the practice management and medical secretary. Job description

You will be joining a supportive, friendly and well organised GP practice to provide high-quality, patient-centred general medical services to the registered diverse population of Gosforth, working as part of the multidisciplinary primary care team in accordance with GMC standards, NHS regulations, and practice policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary medical care including consultations, examinations, and treatment planning

Experience
