Job summary

Rosedean House Surgery, part of OneMedical Group, seeks a Salaried GP to join our East Cornwall team. You will deliver balanced primary care across in-person, telephone, and home visits, while leading a multidisciplinary group to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.

We offer supportive development in a forward-thinking, community-focused practice. This role requires GMC registration on the GP Specialty Register, NHS Performers List, and post-CCT experience in Primary or Urgent Care.

Qualifications

• GMC Registered General Practitioner on the GP Specialty Register and NHS Performers List.
• Post-CCT experience in Primary or Urgent Care.
• Experience mentoring and supporting the wider MDT in primary care.

Responsibilities

• Balanced 15-minute appointments across face-to-face, telephone, and home visits.
• Complex care management and evidence-based patient care.
• MDT leadership to ensure appropriate care for complex/long-term conditions.

Working as a core member of our multidisciplinary team (alongside Practice Nurses, ACPs, Care Coordinators and Pharmacists), you will help shape the future of a valuable local service that cares for approximately 10,000 registered patients.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Balanced Clinical Delivery: Managing a balanced mix of 15-minute appointments across face-to-face, telephone consultations, and home visits.
• Complex Care Management: Providing patient-focussed, evidence-based care across planned and urgent primary care presentations.
• MDT Leadership: Supporting the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure complex and long-term condition patients receive the right care from the right clinician.
• Potential career progression opportunities within the Group, driving primary care excellence across the organisation.

• Salary: Dependent on experience
• NHS Pension: 20.6% employer contribution.
• 30 days plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata), plus an extra day of leave awarded for every year of service.
• Protected CPD & Study Time: 10% of weekly working hours set aside for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), plus 5 days of study leave per annum (pro-rata).
