Job summary

The Horndean Surgery, a small friendly practice on the outskirts of Waterlooville, Hampshire, is recruiting a Salaried GP for 4 sessions per week, including all-day Tuesday and Wednesday. You will have a named patient list and share duty sessions, with an established team including an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and practice nurses to support care.

Job description

The Horndean Surgery is located in the semi-rural village of Horndean based on the outskirts of Waterlooville, Hampshire. We are a small friendly practice looking to recruit a 4 session Salaried GP, to include all day Tuesday and Wednesday. As part of this role, you will have a named patient list and share duty sessions. There may also be occasional visit although we do have a Home Visiting team too.

The practice would like to invite applications from GPs who are interested in a salaried role at the practice.

• Member of the South East Hampshire Primary Care Network who currently employ paramedics, Social prescribers, pharmacists, Home Visiting team in addition to some Physio First provision.

We are a training practice and currently have 2 GP registrars. We thrive on providing education and supporting the next generation of general practitioners.

We hold monthly clinical meetings and the practice team is encouraged to meet daily for coffee to share experiences and provide essential support and a break in a busy day.
