Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide general medical services and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring a high standard of care is provided for all registered and temporary patients.

About us

Supportive clinical team currently 4 partners, 6 salaried GPs, 3 practice nurses, 1 nurse associate, 2 Healthcare Assistants. Excellent management and administration back up. The practice embraces a wide range of services including LARC and anticoagulation. Purpose built premises both main site and branch surgery, spacious consultation rooms, ample safe parking. 10,120 patients. Village locations 2 miles between sites, Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in line with NHS and practice policies.

Core duties

• Undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone/video consultations, and home visits where appropriate.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, including long-term condition reviews.
• Prescribe safely and effectively in accordance with local and national guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records.
• Contribute to QOF, enhanced services, and practice development.
• Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team including nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.
• Participate in clinical meetings and practice governance activities.
