Job summary

Mostyn House Medical Practice in Llandudno is seeking a salaried GP to join our friendly team for 4-6 sessions per week from December 2026 onwards.

We are a GP training practice with 7 Partners, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and a supportive admin team. The role offers NHS general practice responsibilities, opportunities for partnership in the future, and a collaborative work environment in a scenic North Wales town.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with GMC and on the GP Register.
• Active engagement in CPD and professional development.
• Willingness to work in a multi-disciplinary team and in a training practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide general medical services including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and home visits.
• Ensure accurate records, patient continuity and quality of care.
• Adhere to GMS contracts, Enhanced Services and NHS guidelines; comply with GMC standards.

Job description

• Provide general medical services for the practice population to a high standard, including day-to-day activities such as surgery consultations, telephone consultations and home visits and appropriate administration to ensure accurate records, patient continuity and quality of care.
• Comply with the requirements of the practices General Medical Services/Personal Medical Services GMS contract, Enhanced Services contracts, educational/training delivery contracts and private contracts.
• Adhere to the GMC's Principles of Good Medical Practice.
  Experience in general practice and working in multi-disciplinary team, Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and entry on the GP Register
• Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible.
• Evidence of continuous professional development
• Driving license, MRCGP
• Academic excellence (prizes, merits, distinctions etc.)

Llandudno is a popular scenic seaside resort feted for its pier, its beach and its striking promenade. It is close to the historical town of Conwy and to the picturesque Snowdonia National Park. It has excellent transport links and is by car less than 1 hour from Chester and just over 1 hour from Liverpool. We are privileged to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country.

We are a friendly collaborative team of 7 GP's, 4 practice nurses, 1 advanced nurse practitioner, 1 advanced paramedic practitioner, 1 healthcare assistant, phlebotomists and an excellent supportive admin team who pull together to deliver General Medical Services to our 9800 patients. We are actively involved in the Conwy West Collaborative.
