Job description

Are you looking to prioritize continuity of care and make a real difference to your patients? We offer a supportive environment with a manageable workload.

Enjoy a balanced schedule with 25 appointments per day, 15-minute face-to-face consultations, capped duty sessions, and no private work commitments!

Prefer to focus on clinical care rather than administrative or ward round duties? We exclude ward rounds and care home visits from your responsibilities.

Compensation includes £12,196.68 per session, full CPD allocation aligned with the BMA model contract, and paid indemnity.

Our contract follows the BMA model, including automatic DDRB uplifts—no need to request them!

Main duties of the job

• Work 5 sessions per week, with days to be agreed
• Manage 12-13 patients per session, with scheduled time for home visits and daily clinical meetings
• Participate in capped duty sessions, excluding care homes
• Attend a monthly clinical closure afternoon for training and team building
• Use SystmOne with full Ardens templates
• Share administrative and prescription tasks efficiently

Cherry Hinton is a traditional Cambridge practice emphasizing face-to-face high-quality consultations, led by Cambs GP Network, CGPN, a GP Federation. We support clinicians to focus on patient care.
