Job Description

About The Role
The Junction Health Centre has an exciting new opportunity for either newly qualified or experienced GP to cover 8am - 8pm on Fridays. Join our friendly, well-established practice with a strong emphasis on teamwork and high-quality patient care, offering routine appointments at 15 minutes.

This role is ideal for a qualified GP interested in working closely with the management team to deliver a safe and efficient service. The practice is family-friendly, NHS-based, with 8,300 registered patients and an Access Hub service providing treatment and advice for minor illnesses, injuries, and long-term conditions. We also offer services like immunisations, women's health, health promotion, and screening.

As an active member of the Primary Care Network (PCN), we are involved in projects to improve primary care delivery, including recruiting staff through the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme such as Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Physician Associates, Social Prescribers, and an Associate Psychologist, enhancing patient access.

What you will need

  • GMC registration certificate and inclusion on the GP Performers List with a valid CCT.
  • Experience managing acute and chronic presentations for adults and children, maintaining high standards of care.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, experience in urgent care assessment, and proficiency with IT and keyboard skills.
