A healthcare organization in the UK is looking for a newly qualified General Practitioner to join their team. This role requires managing patient care independently, providing consultations, and undertaking home visits as needed. Applicants must have full GMC registration and a passion for patient care within a collaborative environment. Flexible work hours across practices are supported, catering to professional development and growth.
An exciting opportunity to join our multi-disciplinary PCN team which consists of 6 GP Practices, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics, Social Prescribers, Physiotherapists, Care Coordinators, Health Coach and Pharmacy Technicians. Prestwich PCN consists of 6 practices that work collaboratively and have done for many years. All practices within the PCN are CQC rated good or above and are supported by experienced nursing staff, ARRS staff, practice managers and administrative teams.
This post is funded through the Network Contract DES. You must be within 2 years of GP qualification and not have been substantively employed as a GP previously. The post will require you to work across no more than 2 of the practices, offering a great opportunity to gain experience across different practices.
We require 4 sessions on a Wed and Fri across The Birches and Greylands practices and 2 sessions on a Fri at Longfield practice. We are very flexible on the number of sessions per week — please indicate the number of sessions as a preference in your application.

We have a weighted list size of approximately 40,000 patients across 6 GP practices: Whittaker Lane Medical Centre, Fairfax Medical Practice, Greylands, The Birches, St Gabriels, Longfield Medical Practice.
