The post-holder will manage a caseload and address a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring high standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Working Arrangements
We offer 26.6 hours over 3 days, with a reduced workload in line with NHS financial restrictions. On-calls and home visits are not typically required. Sessions will consist of 10x15 minute appointments, along with additional admin work as needed.
You will be required to work flexibly across PCN GP practices and premises, potentially across the Wakefield District. Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence with valid insurance for business travel or have alternative mobility options, for which reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
In accordance with the PCN/General Practice timetable, the post-holder will undertake duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and handling queries, paperwork, reports, and correspondence promptly.
