Rate:
£400–£500/day (Outside IR35)
Duration:
6 months
Long description:
We’re working with a UK-based organisation rolling out a new Sage People platform to support their 7,000+ employees. They're entering the UAT phase of a business-critical implementation and need a Sage People Configuration Specialist to join the team immediately on a 6-month contract.

You’ll be embedded within the internal tech function, working closely with subject matter experts and the implementation partner to ensure the system is fully aligned with business processes ahead of go-live in late October. This is a hands-on role-you’ll take ownership of configuration, workflow adjustments, and customisation workstreams.

You’ll also support the project through post-launch hypercare, providing stability and handing over documentation to the internal team.

What you'll be doing:
  • Configuring and customising Sage People to meet business needs
  • Supporting UAT and post-launch hypercare
  • Collaborating with SMEs, HR stakeholders, and implementation partners
  • Adjusting workflows, screen layouts, notifications, and forms
  • Contributing to a successful transition to BAU operations
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven Sage People configuration experience (ideally across multiple implementations)
  • Good understanding of HR processes and systems
  • Comfortable working with Salesforce-based platforms (Flows, layout customisation etc.)
  • Confident working independently in a remote-first environment
  • UK-based contractor available to start ASAP
Bonus points for:
  • Salesforce knowledge (Flows, Lightning)
  • Experience working in large-scale transformations end to end
