Job summary

Ambis Resourcing seeks a Sage 200 Consultant to drive end-to-end Sage 200 deployments from home, with 2 days per week on site across the UK. The role requires independent ownership and strong client-facing abilities to deliver complex deployments.

The successful candidate will lead requirements, design, deployment, and post-implementation support, with a pathway to ongoing client impact and a rewarding, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in full lifecycle Sage 200 implementations.
• Excellent SQL skills—writing queries, data extraction, troubleshooting.
• Presales experience and confidence engaging directly with customers.
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales consultancy through to post-deployment support.
• Gather requirements and scope client deployments.
• Conduct client demos and design Sage 200 solutions.
• Deploy Sage 200 and associated modules; oversee ongoing client engagement.
• Manage multiple implementations and ensure delivery success.

A Sage 200 Consultant is required by a growing solutions provider with a full pipeline and an urgent need for a strong, experienced, self-sufficient all-rounder to hit the ground running.

With a strong client base and stacks of work ready to go, this organisation offers a mature and rewarding environment for the right person to lead Sage 200 deployments end to end.

To be considered you will need:

• Extensive experience in full lifecycle Sage 200 implementations
• Excellent SQL skills - writing queries, extracting data, troubleshooting
• Presales experience and confidence engaging directly with customers
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

They will give you full training in Sage Intacct with all the certifications, because they expect the Sage 200 work to dry up in the next 18 months.

You'll receive full support from the team where needed, but you'll be trusted to manage your own workload and deliver on a wide variety of Sage 200 projects. This is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, responsibility, and direct client impact.

Day to Day:

You'll be involved in everything from presales consultancy through to post-deployment support. This includes requirement gatherings, scoping, client demos, solution design, deployment of Sage 200 and associated modules, and ongoing client engagement. You'll lead multiple implementations and play a key role in ensuring successful delivery across the board.
