Job summary

Network Rail is offering a Year in Industry placement in Milton Keynes. You will join the Health and Safety/Technical Authority teams, developing risk and safety knowledge, and supporting campaigns. Exposure to Excel and PowerBI, data analysis, and creating communication materials will be valued.

Opportunities to visit sites and work across regions are included. Applicants should be in their penultimate year with a 2:2 or higher and be available for a 10-month placement.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year student at university and applying for a year in industry placement (penultimate year).
• Degree should be at least a 2:2; area preferred includes health, safety, risk, data or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Researching and writing case studies and guidance notes to support colleagues.
• Reviewing and updating standards against new compliance obligations.
• Running campaigns and events to improve engagement.
• Supporting data reporting, collating and analysing data to inform decision making.
