Job Description

The role of the Safety Technician Fall Protection Systems involves working with fall protection systems such as lifelines, anchors, guardrails, gates, platforms, and walkways. The technician will work in a team to install, test, certify, and eventually recertify and repair these systems across the UK, primarily in the South West (M4 corridor).

Responsibilities

1. Install fall protection systems and carry out tests to ensure safety and certification.
2. Participate in site toolbox talks prior to work.
3. Assist with recertification and repairs of safety systems.
4. Support on-site sales and lead generation activities.
5. Monitor installation teams to ensure safety procedures are followed.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working at height.
• Installation experience in roofing, cladding, facades, solar, building envelope, scaffolding, HVAC, or telecom sectors is preferred.
• Industry experience in roles such as Lift Testing Engineer, Recertification Engineer, Test Engineer, Fall Protection Engineer, Installation Engineer, Safety Technician, or Recertification Technician is advantageous.
• Willingness to obtain an NVQ Level 3 in Fall Protection if not already held.
• Full UK driving license held for at least 1 year.
• Excellent customer service skills and personable attitude.
• Experience with health and safety regulations.
• Organized with high attention to detail and good time management skills.
