Job summary

The University of Liverpool is seeking a Safety, Risk & Compliance Manager within the Faculty Team to lead the development and implementation of health and safety management systems.

You will monitor compliance with statutory provisions, drive improvements, and work with the Safety Advisors Office to communicate policies across your area of responsibility, delivering a compliant, efficient, and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of health and safety management systems within your area of responsibility.
• Monitor the effectiveness of local arrangements to ensure compliance with statutory provisions and recommend improvements when needed.
• Collaborate with the Faculty Safety Team to share best practice and ensure a consistent, compliant approach to health, safety, risk and compliance.
• Communicate policies across your area of responsibility in partnership with the Safety Advisors Office and act as an operational contact for day-to-day service issues.
• Drive efficiency, innovation and service excellence to underpin the University's strategic and operational priorities.
