The Role:

This position will oversee the Quality department for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) within this Aerospace business. You will be responsible for managing product safety and MRO quality, providing quality leadership across the MRO department, and demonstrating success through product safety management and driving the team to meet company and client standards.

You will be part of the business growth, leading through safety, compliance, and quality standards of manufacturing, gaining valuable experience. This role offers opportunities within this progressive Aerospace company.

Responsibilities of the role:

  1. Oversee the Product Safety Manager duties related to safety, compliance, regulations, and standards set by the business and customers.
  2. Maintain MRO quality through leadership, reviewing improvement areas for best practice.
  3. Drive EASA/CAA regulations to uphold Aerospace manufacturing standards within a part 145 environment.
  4. Lead product safety regulations with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and CEA standards for the international market.
  5. Identify growth areas, manage documentation and compliance, guide and review team resources, and meet site deadlines.
  6. Develop the business and your skills for growth.

Skills required:

  • Experience leading quality standards within an Aerospace maintenance environment, guiding a team on business quality best practices.
  • Knowledge of safety standards specific to EASA/CAA part 145 regulations and modern Aerospace safety standards.
  • Understanding of safety management regulations and international market standards.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop, and reflect on self-improvement.
