Job summary
UKAEA is seeking a Safety and Health Improvements Advisor to shape and deliver initiatives that strengthen health, safety and wellbeing across the organisation. You will work with teams to drive improvement programmes, analyse data and support practical solutions that enhance safety culture and compliance.
You will lead projects, deliver safety training, and collaborate with Safety and Health Partners to embed enhancements, with regular onsite presence at Culham, Oxfordshire.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Certificate required and knowledge of safety disciplines.
- Experience in behavioural safety, risk assessment and COSHH.
- Experience in complex technical or industrial environments.
- Experience delivering safety training programmes and awareness activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead allocated safety and health improvement projects independently.
- Support delivery of larger safety and health programmes.
- Contribute to safety assurance activities including inspections and reviews.
- Gather stakeholder feedback to identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
- Develop guidance, training materials and content for new processes.
