At Kingspan, we're looking for a proactive and detail-driven SHEQ Officer to join our Operations Team in Newry. This is a key role where you'll be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our standards in Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, and Compliance.

About the Role

As the SHEQ Officer, you'll work closely with operational teams to lead and support health & safety initiatives, ensure compliance with legislation and ISO standards, and continuously improve environmental and quality assurance systems. You'll bring leadership, urgency, and strong organisational skills to a role that's vital in upholding the values and integrity of the Kingspan brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and non-conformance issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Deliver training and inductions across health & safety, compliance, and environmental awareness.
• Facilitate all forms of risk assessments (e.g., COSHH, manual handling, fire risk).
• Conduct site inspections, health surveillance, and environmental checks.
• Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the business.
• Monitor and manage internal audits and support external audit readiness.
• Guide quality control processes, from testing and inspection to root cause analysis of scrappage and customer complaints.
• Ensure proper calibration of equipment and the uplift of hazardous waste.
• Upload monthly reports via Kingspan systems such as Accuvio and SharePoint.

What You'll Bring

• NEBOSH General Certificate (required).
• Proven experience working within ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 environments.
• Strong background in HSEQ practices, risk assessment, and audit preparation.
• Excellent communication and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A hands-on attitude with a passion for continuous improvement and safety leadership.
