As SHE Advisor, you'll help to prevent work-related injuries and illness by working closely with all levels of the business to promote compliance and continuous improvement culture. This role is in a food manufacturing environment meaning you will get excellent exposure to a wide variety of risks and hazards, enhancing your career development.

Salary: £35,000 Per Annum

Location: Ebbw Vale

Role Type: Full Time / Mon-Fri / 8:30-5 / 8:30-4 on Fridays early finish

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated SHE Advisor to support site safety, health, and environmental compliance. You will help reduce risks and hazards, ensure legal compliance, and deliver SHE training. Key responsibilities include:

1. Conducting workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
2. Leading incident investigations and root cause analysis.
3. Implementing and maintaining the SHE management system.
4. Supporting contractor and visitor management.
5. Driving group initiatives and campaigns.
6. Monitoring working environments for unsafe practices.
7. Recommending improvements and taking action against violations.
8. Liaising with enforcing authorities.
9. Maintaining SHE competency.
10. Deputising for the SHE Manager when needed.
11. Active participation in SHE community calls and forums.

We're looking for:

1. Level 3 Health and Safety qualification and Environmental qualification.
2. Manufacturing industry experience.
