Job summary

MSA Safety Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a field-based role focused on site safety, installation, testing and maintenance of height safety equipment. You will complete detailed paperwork for client manuals and certificates, and identify additional fall-protection needs.

Mobility to work at various sites is essential, with IPAF/PASMA training advantageous. We value safety-first professionals and offer a supportive environment with strong pension and life assurance benefits, plus 25 days

Qualifications

• Clean driving licence is required.
• Ability to clear DBS/CRB/Scottish Disclosure.
• Comfortable working at height.
• Previous mobile, site-based experience preferred.
• IPAF training is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure highest levels of site safety and customer service during installations, testing and maintenance of site-height safety equipment.
• Provide legible paperwork upon completion of new installations to enable client manuals; inspections must detail findings for certificates or quotes.
• Identify additional fall-protection equipment or training needs at sites.
• Support team and management to help run the business and contribute to profit objectives.

What you will do - the role:

• Ensuring the highest levels of site safety and customer service are adhered to all times whilst carrying out site-based installations as well as testing and maintenance of site-based height safety equipment in accordance with manufacturers requirements and drawings provided.
• Ensuring that detailed legible paperwork is provided upon the completion of a new installations, to allow the full manuals to be produced for the Client (produced by others). When carrying our inspections, the paperwork needs to detail the findings of the inspection to allow either the client certificates to be produced (By Others) or remedial Quotation can be provided for any failures (By Others). This paperwork can be provided by either hard copy paperwork, laptop or tablet (Provided by HCL)
• Identifying any additional requirements for fall protection equipment or training at sites where activities are undertaken.
• Other duties as required by the Team Leader or senior management to assist in the efficient running of the business and contribute to the company's profit objectives.
