Safety Engineering Opportunities - Submarines
Full-time or Part-Time on site
Why Rolls-Royce?
We’re a leader in nuclear propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy’s nuclear submarine fleet and the sole provider and technical authority.
We offer several safety career opportunities within our Submarines business in Derby and our new satellite site in Glasgow.
If you have nuclear safety engineering experience or wish to train in this area, you could help power submarines today and develop solutions for tomorrow. Currently, over 100 employees work in nuclear safety roles, with plans to double this number over the next 4-5 years as our business expands into space, micro reactors, nuclear propulsion for the Australian Navy, and collaborations with the MoD on nuclear defense solutions.
We provide excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary, and benefits such as pension, bonus, employee support, and discounts.
Join us for an inclusive, digital-first culture that invests in your growth and offers diverse opportunities for your career development.
Our hybrid working model allows flexibility between office, home, or other remote locations, with an expectation of attending the workplace around three days per week for collaboration and specific activities.
