Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications is seeking a Safety Engineer to lead hazard analysis, safety assessments, and FMEA/FMECA within Cyber UK. You will develop safety cases, produce documentation, and guide design decisions to ensure compliant, reliable products for mission-critical applications.

The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, a solid grasp of safety standards (Def Stan 00-056, MIL‑STD 1629, ARP4761, ARP4754), and the ability to mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience performing hazard analysis across product lifecycles.
• Proven ability to develop safety cases and link evidence to requirements.
• Experience with safety standards and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard identification and safety assessments.
• Perform FMEA/FMECA and reliability analyses.
• Produce safety documentation and plans.
• Lead safety reviews and workshops.
• Interface with customers and regulators as required.
